The RCSEd is dedicated to the pursuit of excellence and advancement in surgical practice, through its interest in education, training and examinations, its liaison with external medical bodies and representation of the modern surgical workforce.
For over 500 years the College has represented the surgical and dental workforce. Today, the College is a modern international network with some 19,000 Fellows, Members and Affiliates worldwide. The College prides itself on its reputation for friendliness and approachability combined with innovation and prestige.
The RCSEd has a UK-wide affiliate network, aimed at medical students and Foundation Doctors with an interest in pursuing a surgical career.
