The Dr F.A.C. Dumontier Military Hospital was initially inaugurated in 1965 and is dedicated to the care of Suriname’s military personnel. After the declaration of independence in Suriname in 1975, the hospital was transeferred to the Surinamese Armed Forces. The hospital is a care centre for military personnel and strives to maintain optimal and preventative healthcare measures for those working in the Ministry of defence and their families.
The hospital strives to provide a safe and inspiring environment for both patients and staff, whilst maintaining a cost-effective and efficient working hospital.
