The Central Hospital of Yaoundé (in French, Hôpital Central de Yaoundé – HCY) was founded in 1933. It is tertiary level general teaching hospital, offering lowest cost to quality of care.
It is located in the City Center area, 2008 street behind CENAME (National Central of Essential Medicines) and not far from the camp sic messa. It has several specialization units, namely Surgery and Specialties Unit, Home Unit of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Emergency, Gynaecology/Obstetrics Unit, or Medicine and specialties unit.
