The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery is the leading quaternary centre for neurology and neurosurgery in the UK and is part of University College Hospitals Foundation Trust and allied to the Institute of Neurology, University College London. It also plays a large role in the Academic Health Science Centre – UCL Partners with neurology being one of the major themes.

There are over 200 inpatient beds, with a dedicated day care facility for tests, investigation and treatment, 32 outpatient consulting rooms and 200 outpaitent clinics weekly, and the hospital has arrangements with local hotels, which offer a flexible service for patients.
