Astrid Lindgren's Children's Hospital

Specialist Hospital/Clinic | Stockholm, Sweden

Hospital description

The Karolinska Institutet is the medical school responsible for research and education, also separate from us but in tight collaboration.

For electives at the Karolinska, there has to be collaboration under contract between the “home” university and the Karolinska Institutet. No elective at the Karolinska can be arranged without this. Thus, I advice you to contact the Karolinska Institutet for further information.
Unfortunately this means that you will check with your university if there are any connections between the two universities and if not an elective here will not be possible.

Astrid Lindgren Children’s Hospital in Solna and Children’s Hospital in Huddinge have merged into one pediatric hospital within the organisation of Karolinska University Hospital.
