The Jibon Tari Impact Foundation is an initiative to eradicate preventable disability from rural Bangladesh. There are over 162 full-time employees and several hundred community volunteers working for the foundation. The Jibon Tari is a sophisticated floating hospital and is part of an NGO that started its humanitarian voyage in 1999. This unique enterprise moors up at different locations and provides a three-month service programme to provide medicare facilities to poor rural people in Bangladesh.
The projects run by the Impact Foundation have gained national and international recognition.
