Frimley Park Hospital is only able to accept application for elective placements from their affiliated medical schools (updated May 2015)
Frimley Park Hospital was built in 1974 to provide a full range of district general hospital services for the population of north east Hampshire and west Surrey replacing a number of cottage hospitals. Due to a consistently strong performance over several years, Frimley Park Hospital became a foundation trust on 1 April 2005. Since then the trust has been able to invest in further patient services such as a modern eye unit, a new £2m cardiac centre, expanded critical care facilities and extended consultant cover in front-line services. Plans are now in place for a regional heart attack centre and a new A&E.
