This is a small rural hospital in north-west Ghana, which serves a population base of approximately 46,000 people. It relies on a dedicated and enthusiastic staff to provide medical care with limited resources and in challenging circumstances. The hospital has been able to omprove services over the last couple of years, with the introduction of a new ambulance service for pregnant women and the development of a new state-of-the-art fifty bedded children’s ward. The children’s ward was completed in 2011.
