This is a Catholic Hospital and it serves one if the poorest areas in Nambia. Most of its patients are dealing with illnesses such as tuberculosis or pneumonia which are caused by their severely damaged immune system. Many of these patients are dying from AIDS or illnesses caused by AIDS. This busy hospital finds itself on the very front line of the battle against HIV/AIDS.
