ANMC has been recognized nationally for its major re-design of primary care services. It provides a patient-centered, relationship-based system with same-day access to care, and greater emphasis on wellness and health promotion. This hospital is run by a number of Native-owned corporations. Treatment is free for Native Americans. ANMC providers are world leaders in telehealth and they often travel the state providing thousands of hours of service at field clinics.
