Penang Adventist Hospital (PAH) is part of an international network of some 500 not-for-profit hospitals, clinics and dispensaries worldwide operating under the Adventist Health Network and is a Malaysian owned and controlled company. The Adventist network of hospitals also includes the world famous Loma Linda University and Medical Centre in California, U.S.A. PAH is the first private hospital in Northern Malaysia to perform Microvascular, Coronary Bypass, Laser Heart Surgery (TMR) and open-heart surgery.

The hospital was established in 1924 by Dr J. Earl Gardner and from its humble beginnings as a one man clinic, PAH has grown to become a tertiary healthcare institution providing healthcare for both local and International communities. The hospital is supported by a dedicated medical team, nursing and healthcare professionals and its’ facilities include a wide variety of up-to-date medical equipment, enabling PAH to provide quality healthcare to its’ patients.
