Joondalup is the largest healthcare facility in the northern suburbs of Perth. It offers a wide range of services, including both public and private hospital facilities plus a specialist medical centre accommodating leading specialists and diagnostic services, and a twenty-four hour Emergency Department.
The northern suburbs of Perth are growing rapidly, and the hospital is currently undergoing significant development and redevelopment in order to accommodate the needs of the swelling population. Joondalup is already one of the State’s busiest hospitals, and a $390 million redevelopment of the facilities has been commenced in order to enable the health service to continue to accommodate local needs.
Joondalup Health Campus is associated with the University of Western Australia and previous students have been welcomed by the team and encouraged to integrate with home students whilst on their elective.
