Jewish General Hospital (JGH) is one of the largest and busiest acute-care and teaching hospitals in Canada and a well-known referral centre for cancer and neonatology. It is approximately 30 min from the city centre. Although the JGH still serves Montreal’s Jewish community, it also provides treatment to individuals of all backgrounds as it is located in one of Canada’s most culturally and ethnically diverse neighbourhoods.
