The Children’s Cancer Hospital 57357 is a brand new charity hospital in Cairo which has state-of-the-art architecture and equipment and which has been developed with the aim of delivering comprehensive care for children with cancer in Egypt, the Middle East and Africa. Raising funds for the hospital took almost a decade and it is now supported by a foundation that continues to raise funds to maintain the hospital.
The name “57357” came from the bank account which was used as a repository for the money raised to set up the hospital. Due to the success of the money raised, it was then decided that the name of the hospital would be called Children’s Cancer Hospital 57357.
