The Hochtaunus hospitals unite three hospitals, namely the Bad Homburg, Königstein and Usingen hospitals. Situated in the Hesse region of Germany, just north of Frankfurt am Main, the hospitals share 619 beds between them and treat over 60,000 patients a year, in-patients and out-patients combined, providing the main medical cover for the surrounding area.
The hospitals have an affiliation with the Goethe University in Frankfurt/Main and acts as a teaching hospital (Akademisches Lehrkrankenhaus) that will accept German students during their practical year (Praktisches Jahr). Places are available in anaesthetics, geriatrics, gynaecology, neurology and urology.
