The St Vicenz Klinikum is one of three clinics who together form the St. Vincenz-Krankenhaus GmbH. Altogether the hospital group consists of 18 specialist departments with 756 beds and treats over 41,000 inpatients a year. The three locations are St. Vincenz-Krankenhaus, the Women’s and Children’s Clinic St. Louise and the Brüderkrankenhaus St. Josef.The hospital is also a training centre for midwives.
The hospital also has an affiliation with the Georg-August-Universität in Göttingen and acts as a teaching hospital (Akademisches Lehrkrankenhaus) that will accept German students during their practical year (Praktisches Jahr).
