North Wales Clinical School

Referral/Teaching Hospital | Bangor, United Kingdom

Hospital description

This hospital offers PJ and Famulatur placements.

The North Wales Clinical School (NWCS) is the result of an initiative by the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (which was previously three separate health boards across North Wales). The NWCS works in conjunction with three higher education institutions to provide medical education across the region. The institutions are:

- Bangor University
- Cardiff University
- Glyndŵr University

The North Wales Clinical School (NWCS) works to provide real patient benefits at all stages. It consists of two main parts, which work integrally together: the facilities and infrastructure for teaching medical students and a background of vibrant research to create a coherent academic backdrop for students. This is a more research based elective opportunity.
