Perth Royal Infirmary is a longstanding hospital that has its origins in the Perth City and County Infirmary, which served the Perth and Kinross population from 1838. In 1914 the hospital moved to larger premises on the current site on Glasgow Road and has since gone through a number of extensions and developments to create the current hospital complex. The Royal Infirmary has been a University Teaching Hospital since 2006.
