Located on the south coast, Conquest Hospital is located near the historic town of Hastings and is a modern district general hospital. It is a four storey hospital that has commanding views of the over Hastings and of the English Channel.

Conquest Hospital provides a comprehensive range of hospital services for all ages. These include a Coronary Care Unit (CCU), a Children’s Unit that incorporates a Special Care Baby Unit, a Cancer Care Centre and Maternity suite. There is also a day hospital for the elderly and diagnostic laboratories and services.
The hospital has an active Accident and Emergency Department.
At Conquest Hospital there is a consultant led maternity unit with the Buchanan Delivery Suite, which has 10 rooms, one theatre and two recovery beds. There is also a 24 hour cover from anaesthetist and obstetricians to assist women if required at any time. There is also the Frankshaw Postnatal Ward and the Murray Antenatal Ward. The Frankshaw ward is a five-bedded Transitional Care Bay, providing additional support for babies that do not require Special Care Baby Unit services and are not quite ready for the postnatal ward. The Murray ward has 12 beds and can admit women 24 hours a day.
