Sahara Rehabilitation Hospital (SRH) is a private physiotherapy and rehabilitation hospital established and registered in 2006. We envision a society where the rights of people with disease or disability are respected and upheld in order to allow them to take part in all aspects of civil life. Our mission is to improve the quality of life of people with disease or disability through our treatment and rehabilitation services.
We believe SRH to be the first hospital of its kind in Nepal. It was established by Dr. Hari K. Lamsal (a senior physiotherapist) with the help of Mr. Jana Prakash Chapagain and Mr. Madhav Pandey. Through years of planning, and with the encouragement of their patients the Sahara Rehabilitation Hospital was formed.
Mr. Chapagain, one of the founders of the hospital first met Dr. Lamsal as his patient after fracturing and dislocating his wrist. Dr. Lamsal decided to travel and visit different physiotherapy centres abroad, and when he returned the three friends decided to found the SRH.
This hospital opened on the 1st of May 2006.
