The economic activities of the people in the hospital’s catchment area are farming and pito brewing. Only small portions of the population are civil servants and petty traders.
The hospital also provides eye, urological and orthopaedic specialized services amongst others from time to time by visiting specialists. During these periods, various radio announcements are made which attracts people all over the region and beyond to benefit from these specialized services which are not found in any of the three northern regions of Ghana.
