Peterborough City Hospital is an acute general district hopspital which is run by Peterborough and Stamford NHS Foundation Trust and serves the city of Peterborough, north Cambridgeshire, areas of east Northamptonshire and Rutland.
The hospital was officially opened in 2011 and was built to replace Peterborough District Hospital and Edith Cavell Hospital. The hospital is the largest building project in the city of Peterborough since its Cathedral was built more than 800 years ago.
The hospital has a Cancer Centre, Cardiology Centre, a dedicated Women’s and Children’s Unit and Adult and Paediatric Emergency Centre’s.
