Tunbridge Wells Hospital in Pembury is a very new hospital which was founded in 2010. It was built on the site of the former Pembury Hospital, established in 1938 and demolished recently to make way for the new Hospital. Tunbridge Wells Hospital is the first NHS hospital in England to provide en-suite, single rooms for all inpatients. It is a clinical teaching centre for the King’s College London.
