The Lapland Hospital District (Lapin sairaanhoitopiirin kuntayhtymä) is a public healthcare network which is responsible for the care of the 120,000 inhabitants of the Lapland region in Northern Finland. The district’s main site is the Lapland Central Hospital, located in the regional capital, Rovaniemi.
Rovaniemi is a small city located just 10km south of the Arctic Circle, and is home to around 62,000 people.
