In 2013 the hospitals of Helsingør, Hillerød and Frederikssund merged and became part of
Nordsjællands Hospital. Nordsjællands Hospital therefore comprises the three units:
Nordsjællands Hospital – Hillerød, Nordsjællands Hospital – Frederikssund and Nordsjællands Hospital – Sundhedshuset Helsingør.
