The Immanuel Hospital is a specialised clinic in Berlin with two sites, one in Berlin-Wannsee, the other in Berlin-Buch (founded in 1909). Initially planned as a hospital for polio, today it is a specialist clinic for Rheumatology. Together the hospitals treat 4,650 in-patients a year and 21,000 out-patients.

The hospital deals mainly with chronic inflammatory conditions of joints with a focus on conditions such as chronic lower back pain. Rheumatoid orthopaedics, rheumatology and natural medicine are its strong points.

The hospital is associated with the Charité -University medicine Berlin and acts as a teaching hospital (Akademisches Lehrkrankenhaus) that will accept German students during their practical year (Praktisches Jahr). Places are available in the internal medicine department.
