The hospital in Rosenheim has 640 beds on 21 wards and three intensive care wards. Each year it treats more than 28,000 in-patients and around 49,000 out patients. Since 1978 the hospital has an affiliation with the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) and acts as a teaching hospital (Akademisches Lehrkrankenhaus) that will accept German students during their practical year (Praktisches Jahr). Places are available in a variety of specialisations: internal medicine, surgery, anaesthetics, gynaecology and obstetrics, paediatrics, neurology, orthopaedics, radiology and urology

The RoMed hospital group has an additional three hospitals in the towns of Bad Aibling, Prien am Chiemsee and Wasserburg am Inn. Overall the group treats more than 50,000 in-patients and has more than 90,000 out-patient visits every year.
